A Parish was born

This is the story of the first parish devoted to Mother Teresa of Calcutta.It was born without no one expecting it! The Parish of the Holy Heart of Martinsicuro (TE) Italy was increasing beyond measure but a new parish was really unexpected….it has sprouted like a flower on the lawn between some people’s blessings and other people’s malicious gossips. Anyway God’s will was done and as flowers grow in the fields because God takes care of them, so the parish of Mother Teresa of Calcutta providentially thrusts God and those who accept God as the only Lord of their lives.Accepting God is the first necessary step to work for Him and the Parson, Don Marco Farina, was promoter of many conversions that are bringing a great number of collaborators and munificent parishioners to this Parish.Working for God does not only mean to serve Mass or to offer our own voice singing, it means to serve our brothers that is to say to serve Christ. With this dogma the Parson resolved and continuously purposes to carry on any God’s project. Many family prayer groups of the Rosary were born (they are already 23) because The Virgin Mary is the “Secret” on Which every blessing is based. Praying the Rosary means to anticipate any kind of requested grace because she is the Mother… A mother cannot help listening to her sons ‘ requests!. Moreover a family that prays remains united because it puts God before everything, in fact He is the only Adviser we need in families.The Rosary once a week is requested to these prayer groups along with the evangelization with our brothers present at the Rosary that is to say: scanning and assaying The Word of God far and wide. We hope for “ a Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes “ of these groups so that peace reigns in families above all now that the world is terribly far from God. Just because It is fundamental and necessary to know The Word of God, every Friday at 9 p.m. (in Winter) and at 9.30 p.m. (in Summer) , the parson holds biblical Catechesis for everyone. Many people will be wondering what a complicated Word He wrote … in reality everything is very simple… it is the reading of a passage from the Bible with an explanation and a comment on behalf of anyone has to something to ask or to say… it is a kind of round-table discussion to which everyone is called as a listener but also as a participant. Everyone’ s presence is active and productive so that all those who enjoy The Word of God are strongly impressed and boldly pushed to know It better!It is basically important to bring up young people with the respect and the Fear of God, so every Thursday evening while many people are escaping from problems and involving in other problems, a group meets at the Parish to pray for our less fortunate brothers, to listen to The Word of God and talk about this and that but always in Christ!. The diversions of the world are very numerous and bringing young people to Christ is a titanic enterprise that only God can do , so the Parson , who has nothing to do with a Titan but he is decidedly a disciple of Christ, sees to make them understand what is right and what is wrong, to let wisdom and sensibleness enter their hearts not to lose the love God wants to give us every day. Working with those who do not know their identities yet requires a lot of patience and meanwhile a lot of love, because all those who try to understand their nature can have God as landmark, He is not a man made of flesh and blood, He created us, He comforts and consoles us , he only knows what we need. It is very important to fix our eyes on Christ therefore every Friday we have Eucharistic Adoration in our church. Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for everyone from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and He is there to be contemplated in His Infinite Mercy because we need a presence that can be touched and can be seen (we are all limited because of our human nature) therefore The Lord becomes body and blood , bread and wine to be closer to us, to our eyes. The Living Presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament exposed to everyone wants to bring everybody back to Jesus, to his Mercy, to the salvation he gave to us dying on the cross, sacrificed without guilt only because He was the Son of salvation. Sick people are our main interest, we look after them with particular care because The Lord is more present in them. The sick is he/she who needs more to find Christ and to go back to Him because he/she can only be healed by Him.Every month we meet for an afternoon of prayer consisting of Catechesis, Eucharistic Adoration, The Anointing of The Sick that give birth to a union of prayers which ends with the Holy Mass, praising God, thanking him, asking for healing. Jesus Himself says to us: “Ask and you will receive, that your joy may be full” (John 16,24) and listening to His Word and following His example (Jesus healed everybody, he never let a sick person go away empty-handed…), we organize these afternoon which deeply commit ourselves so that all the people looking for God can feel His Living Presence and contemplate His sweetness and healing. He was the same yesterday, He is the same today and He will be the same tomorrow. He who wants to heal our pains, our handicaps, He who wants to heal our hearts, He Who wants us all to go back to Him. During these afternoons The Lord lavishes Holy blessings on all those who invoke with faith a physical and spiritual healing. Be careful! Not with shouts, clamours or somersaults but with faith because “If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed you can say to this mountain: move from here to there”…And when The Lord says these things , when the Lord speaks who cannot believe? Who cannot prophesy? Promise and fidelity are only in Him. Vivid and true witnesses of healing were told during these meetings. People really recovered from tumours, (INSERIRE LINK DI GUARIGIONE), diabetes, epilepsy and autism. They are witnesses that The Lord listened to their requests made with faith and that their faith saved them. God blessed them with physical and spiritual healings really occurred. God is a good Father that is obedient when we are obedient…..Through these parish The Lord really entered in our lives and enters in our lives in every ways, with every means of communication. Because He wants to operate through us so that every man goes back to him to experience True Love, the light that illuminates every man.We go on in the name of JESUS !!! ALLELUJA !
