HEALED FROM RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

My name is Iris Danese, I live in Tortoreto Lido, I'm married with two sons and a lovely nephew. My mother, a really special woman, lives with us. My husband, who is chief engineer on ships, is always working far away exept on holidays. We are christian, believer nd practising. We are very devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Virgin Mary. I belong to the Marian sacerdotal movement and together with my family we are consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.About six months ago my daughter, who is very devoted to Mother Teresa of Calcutta, found a leaflet in a supermarket saying of a healing mass for the sick in the parish of Mother Teresa in Martinsicuro. She told me that she really wished to take part to the mass but unfortunately neither she nor we could, due to some contretemps.

Around the end of October I met a cousin of mine who lives in Martinsicuro and belongs to the Mother Teresa parish. I asked her for some information about these masses. My cousin explained everything and she told me also about don Marco, the priest. She also invited me to take part to the meeting which was to occur in the sport centre on 19th November 2006. After a couple of days while getting up from bed I couldn't move my left arm due to painful aches at my shoulder. A big swelling had appeared on my shoulder. I wasn't able neither to wash myself nor to do any movement. In any case I went to work and then I met my doctor who diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis. I began the treatment with phleboclysis, injections and pills. After a week I began to fell better but I wasn't able to move yet: my leftt shoulder was lowering and it wasn't at the same level of my right shoulder any longer. I also knew that this illness never gets better, on the contrary it gets worse and worse as time goes by.

On the 19th of November I went to the meeting where they prayed for the cure of the sick. As soon as I got there I felt a particular state of grace; it was a serene and joyful place where the people were extremely friendly and warmly welcoming everyone. When the mass began I felt as I was entering another dimension, my heart was beating fast and I felt excited as I had to meet my lover for the first time. During the worship of the Most Holy Sacrament I was thinking of a friend of mine who has severe health problems and I was praying Jesus for her. All at once I felt a terrible pain at the nape of my neck. It lasted for a while but it was really unbeareable and I also told the colleague who was standing by me about it. The mass went on  and I kept on thinking of my friend. When the mass finished I was sorry and I didn't feel like going home as I had felt such a complete joy and peace. I felt like another person.

Once at home I was happy and told my family what I had gone trough.I went to bed, I undressed myself pulling the jumper by the sleeve in order to take it off as I couldn't move my arm (any slight movement was extremely painful to me). Surprisingly that night I didn't feel any pain. I lifted my arm a little and it didn't hurt, I completely lifted it and it didn't hurt, I turned it like a mill but it still didn't hurt! “My Lord, what happened?” I couldn't believe it. I began to cry and I rushed into my mother's bedroom shouting: “Mum, mum, look what has happened!” My mum was scared as she couldn't understand what had occurred. I kept on crying and she was worried. Then I was able to tell her: “Mum, look at my arm! My shoulder isn't hurting any longer! I have got a miracle! Jesus has cured me! Mum I'm fine, I can now move my arm!”. Finally she began to cry out of joy and she saw that the swelling wasn't there any longer. My left shoulder was now at the same level of the right one. No sign of the desease was there any longer.“My daughter! Jesus has done a miracle! She said in amazement. If it wasn't late I would have called my friend, I would have gone onto the roof to shout all my joy. I wanted everybody to take part to my joy. The following day in my office I told  everybody about it, I showed as I was now able to move my arm and my collegues were very surprised as the difference was incredible. I will never stop to thank and praise God for this wonderful gift. God has showed me all his mercy, his benevolence and love.
