MADE FREE FROM THE DEVIL

My name is Giancarlo, I'm 62, I live in Grottammare and I'm a fisherman. Since I was a child I experienced awkward phenomena more on Tuesdays and Fidays. I was scared of them and I got shivers on my beck. I used to hide into my mother's arms. I didn't know anything about those phenomenaand while I was gettig older I couldn't give them a meaning. My mother was a stron faithful, she is to go to church and pray the rosary every day; she used to feel those phenomena as well and she used to kneel and pray the rosary. My mother was also very devoted to St Rita. I got engaged and then married. The phenomena were still happening but my wife woudn't believe on them so I used to suffer on my own. Our first son was a premature baby who was placed into the incubator. The professor told us that he had a poor prognosis: his heart beat and breath used often to stop. He had an awful colour. During the night a wonderful woman came into my wife's dream and told her: “Come on, your son won't die”. The day after we met the hospital nun and she told us.: “Yesterday night the Virgin Mary did a miracle for you: your son is out of danger.” We wanted another child but at the time my wife got pregnant she lost her baby. Twelve years later my wife got pregnant againand the Vergin Mary came into her dreams assuring her that the pregnancy would have been successful; so we had our second son. The phenomena were always there. One day my mother got to know about a very good priest and took us all to him. During the prayer the one causing the phenomena showed up. The priest prayed for us more than once but he couldn't free us up. After that the priest sent us to another one. This one thaught us to pray how to get back to God through the Sacraments and how to keep our faith in God and the Virgin Mary in order to get the final freedom. I used to go to the church every day on my way back to the sea, sometimes twice a day. I also used to go to my mother's house and pray the rosary together with other people. The priest prayed for me and brought me to the San Vicino Sanctuary to pray with the collar belonging to the saint. As soon as I wore the collar I fell down and the enemy and his wordsshowed up again.Nevertheless I didn't manage to get free. I went on pilgrimage to Medjugorie. At the beginning of the Way of the Cross on Krizevac my legs were paralysed and I couldn't move although two people were trying to hel me. Lots of pilgrims used to go up barefoot. I felt like doing the same. As soon as I touched the ground without my shoes I got completely freed up and started to walk like I was flying. But this wasn't the end. On  Friday we fasted and prayed for three hours in father Jozo's chapel in which the Holy Sacrament was kept. It had been a very hard battle but once again I wasn't free at the end of it. But for some reason  I felt like I would have got the liberation in my country with my group of praying people. Durinh the crisis the enemy used to tell me: “Do you love God?” “Yes” I answered. “Then you have to suffer as He did!” So he threw me on the floor, he used to keep my body like a cross and made me feel the pain of crucified Jesus. One Saturday, it was May 1989, after getting ready the liberation prayer, I prayed with the group of charismatics. Two priests were with them. At that time I got my final release for which I always thank and praise my God. Those are the main steps trhough my freedom but many others happened that I didn't mention. Because of this experience I say to everybody: brothers and sisters, Jesus is great and merciful, never get tired of praising him, never get tired of praying the rosary with your family for the Virgin Mary to whom I owe my two children. Be persistant in your prayer as the enemy is always there. Even if you get get asked to pass difficult tests, don't give up but try to find help in God, in Jesus and in his Mother. I would be happy to be helpful to any brother or sister.
